utah photographer | cami at primary childrens hospital

On July 10th, 2010, Camryn was diagnosed with Leukemia. After 3 years fighting it, she was cancer free for an entire school year. Just last month, they chelsea and pat found out cami’s leukemia is back. cami knows the chemo drill, she knew she would lose her hair soon, so before she did she wanted to first color it, and secondly to get photos. so that they did. she put a little sunset in her locks, and i had the privilege of photographing her in her room at primary children’s hospital. what a ray of sunshine she is. she was best friends with the amazing millie flamm, both enduring cancer together. there is something so special about these children with cancer. they are a light among the darkness, even when they’re the ones treading through the blackness. it’s inspiring and beautiful. you can read more about cami, here at kisses for cami.
