what an absolute honor it was to photograph this family.  little millie is nothing short of amazing and beautiful, and little brother will melt your heart with one look.  7 year old millie is battling leukemia. she has been for years now.  i was able to do a few photographs of her while she was at primary children’s hospital a couple weeks ago.  you may have heard about her when justin beiber went to visit her when she couldn’t make it to his concert. my one question is: why the hey did justin beiber not have a photographer with him when he went to visit her?!  WHY?!  hahaha!  he probably needs me to follow him around. don’t judge me just because i have beiber fever.

what a blessing it has been for me to be around this family. from the moment i went into her hospital room, i knew she was extra special. 🙂 being around her and ashtyn  puts my life back into perspective and gives a good tug at my heart and soul, reminding me what’s really important.  what really matters.  the only thing we will leave this beautiful, hard life with is knowledge and the relationships we build with others.  how we treated those around us, lifted the heads that hang down, and looked beyond ourselves. can’t take much else, can we? also reminded me  how often I take the health of me and my family for granted!  daily.  thank you amanda and brady for allowing me to come into your home and share some very sweet moments with you. you are simply amazing. also thank you to holly for introducing me to these young brave, precious souls.
